Permethrin SFR 36.8% mixing ratio per gallon

Control Solutions' current specimen label identifies Permethrin SFR as a 36.8% permethrin emulsifiable concentrate. Its rate/volume chart shows 1 2/3 fl oz per finished gallon for a 0.5% emulsion, 3 1/3 fl oz for 1.0%, and 6 2/3 fl oz for 2.0%.

Do not choose a higher concentration just because a pest seems severe. The applicable use section of the label determines which concentration and application volume are permitted. Some structural termiticide applications also have licensing and state-specific requirements.

FAQ

How much Permethrin SFR 36.8% do I mix per gallon?

The current label's rate/volume chart shows 1 2/3 fluid ounces per finished gallon for a 0.5% emulsion, 3 1/3 fluid ounces for 1.0%, and 6 2/3 fluid ounces for 2.0%. Use only the concentration specified for your labeled application.

What does a 0.5% Permethrin SFR emulsion mean?

For the current 36.8% Permethrin SFR formulation, the label's conversion chart makes a 0.5% finished emulsion with 1 2/3 fluid ounces of product in one finished gallon. The calculator scales that same table to other tank volumes.

Can I use this calculator for 10% or 13.3% permethrin?

No. This page is specifically for Permethrin SFR 36.8%. A 10% or 13.3% permethrin product has a different concentration and label, so its mixing amounts are not interchangeable.

Can I use the 2.0% setting for any outdoor pest?

No. The label determines the allowed concentration and application method for each use. The 0.5%, 1.0% and 2.0% choices are calculation options from the label's rate/volume chart, not a severity scale.
